Ordinary Members:

The Committee members (Officers and Ordinary Members) are elected annually, and the Exec then meets every few weeks throughout the year, with the venue alternating between the three main Wealden towns - Uckfield, Crowborough and Hailsham. Since March 2020, due to the COVID situation, the meetings have been taking place virtually using Zoom video conferencing.
Within the Wealden Executive there are also several smaller working groups, such as Campaigns and Fundraising & Events.
Our last AGM was held on November 7, 2020 from 10am-noon and was virtual, held via Zoom. It was very well attended and we were fortunate to have as our special guest speaker the MP and former Lib Dem leader Tim Farron, after which the meeting itself was held, including the nomination and election of the officers and ordinary executive members for the year 2021 (listed above). If you are interested in joining the Executive, or wish to know more about it and how to get involved, please do get in touch at: info@wealdenlibdems.org.uk
More information on local party executive committee structure and the various roles is available on the national LibDems site.
