Antony Hook, one of the LibDem's top candidates for European Parliament in the South East region - he's second only to Catherine Bearder, our only current LibDem MEP and therefore stands a good chance of being elected if turnout is strong enough - was out and about across East Sussex and Kent today, Saturday May 18th, meeting voters ahead of Thursday's European Parliament Elections.

In Tunbridge Wells this morning, he met up with one of our newly elected Wealden District Councillors Gareth Owen-Williams (pictured right, with Antony) who was helping to campaign and who was struck by the overwhelmingly positive feedback they were receiving from passersby. "The LibDems have been consistent in their message and we have been gaining support from all sides," Gareth commented. "It was a pleasure to meet Antony in his busy schedule and I wish him the best of luck on polling day this Thursday."
