Wealden LibDems promoting the People's Vote March

29 Sep 2018

Wealden Libdems were out and about on Saturday 29th September to promote the People's Vote March which takes place in London on Saturday 20th October. This was a national day to encourage more people to join the march and demand a People's Vote on the final Brexit deal, with an option to stay in the EU.

Pictured left are Jane and Karen from Wealden LibDems, who were in Tunbridge Wells supporting our friends from TW-IN, a non political community group who are very active and well organised. There were many others also helping to hand out leaflets and talking to shoppers about the significance of this march. There was also a group of Brexit supporters active in the town that morning.

There was much interest in supporting the London march on 20th October and we are encouraging as many people as possible to participate and make our voices heard in order to stop the potential catastrophe for our country that would be caused by leaving the EU with no deal or a bad deal...

We will organise meeting points for trains to London from local rail stations across our region for all those attending the People's Vote March on 20th October and will post these on the website shortly.

For those in Tunbridge Wells, we will be meeting at 9.30am at Tunbridge Wells train station on October 20th and will travel up to central London together.

We look forward to seeing you then!
